Hangtown club to sponsor Lamson.
The Dirt Diggers North Motorcycle Club, promoters of the Hangtown Motocro🐷ss Classic, has signed as title sponsor for Steve Lamson Racing.
Lamson will be riding the Hangtownmx.com Honda CRF250F in the 125 east AMA Supercross Series and the 125🦩 AMA Outdoor National Motocross Series, displaying the number 6.
While motocross is experiencing a huge increase of sponsorship i🌳nvolvement from both inside and out of i𓆉ndustry sponsors, no event promoter has ever been the title sponsor of a factory level racing team.

The Dirt Diggers North Motorcycle Club is an organization consisting o🌞f 35 volunteer members that has been promoting the Hangtown Motocross Classic and goodwill in motorcycling for over 35 years.
This years Hangtown Motocross Classic is the opening round of the AMA Motocross Championships, on May 14-16. The Dirt Diggers come from all age groups and walks of life, but share a common love of the sport and the Hangt👍own Motocross Classic.
"It's the best love hate relationship I've ever had! During all of the weekends that we co💯me out and work before the event, you hate it, but when the race weekend arrives and you see 25,000 people in amazement of what you've just built, it makes it all worth it," explained track builder Duane Scott.
"It is truly a labour ꦯof love, it is a ton of work, but it gets better every year," added member Todd Repsher.
Lamson, a native of the Sacramento area, won the AMA 125cc National Championship in 1995 and 1996 and is 3rd on the list of all time 125cc National w🧜inners, preceded ꦡonly by Ricky Carmichael and Mark Barnett.
In addition, at the 1996 Motocross Des Nations in Jerez, Spain, Lamson ♌(pictured last season on a Suzuki) became the only rider ever to win a moto on a 125, battling against 250 and 500cc competition.
