Force India Formula 1 chief Vijay Mallya is happy for the team to take more risks and try out a "new approach" through the final two races of the seaꦬson after clinching fourth place in the constructors' championship with a record points total.

Force India charged to a do𓂃ubl🃏e points finish in Mexico to move into an unassailable lead over Williams in the race for P4 in the teams' standings with two races to spare, with drivers Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon taking points on all but three opportunities this season.

 "To have confirmed fourth place in the constructor🃏s’ championship for the second consecutive year is a wonderful achievement. I’m incredibly proud of the entire team and delighted we have done so with two races in hand," Mallya said.

"It’s already been our strongest season yet i🅰n terms of points scored and we are just 25 shy of the 200 points mark. It shows how consistent we have been all year."

With fourth place in the ♔bag, Mallya is now happy for the team to take more risks and roll the dice some more, as well as hinting that a Friday driver may be on the cards in the f♚inal two races of the year.

“With fourth place secure, we have the freedom to take a new approach into the remaining races – perhaps by trying some different things or different Friday drivers in the car to see ꦜwhat we can learn for next year," Mallya said.

"We can also be more aggressive with strategies and take more risks. We’re still hungr📖y for strong results andও want to end the season on a high note.

"The race in Bra🦄zil this week is an opportunity to continue our run of strong performances at the very least."
