Josh Brookes has claimed a dominant double victory at Brands Hatch to ignite his Bennetts Bri🎀tish Superbike championship title fight with a repeated podium trio from the opener.

The McAMS Yamaha rider, who said he would shave off his mousta♈che if he claimed the double after winning race one at the Kent circuit, produced a near-identical performance from the opener by bolting into the lead at the first co🐓rner before taking a lights-to-flag victory despite sustained pressure from Glenn Irwin.

With quicker race pace from both riders atꦕ the front, the 2015 BSB champion kept clear of any late attacks from the Be Wiser Ducati rider, to double up and send out a warning to his title rival༒s.

Irwin held on to take a double runner-up race weꦺekend with Leon Haslam also completing his pair of podiums in third place for JG Speedfit Kawasaki to maintain his haul of Podium Points with an eye o🌳n the BSB Showdown.

Jake Dixon held off Tarran Mackenzie to take fourth place on the RAF Regular & Reserves Kaജwasaki, with the young McAMS Yamaha rider bouncing back from his frustrati🅘ng race one off to record his best result of his rookie campaign.

Tyco BMW’s Christian Iddon produced a strong start inside the top three but faded as the race progressed to sixth place, while Tommy Bridewell grabbed a stun🐈ning seventh place on his debut for Moto Rapido Ducati ahead of FS-3 Racing Kawasaki’s Danny 🍎Buchan.

Anvil Hire TAGꦅ Yamaha’s James Ellison bounced back from a technical issue from race one to take ninth place as Peter Hickman on the Smiths Racing BMW rounded out the top ten.

Michael Laverty fought back from a poor start, dropping down to 20^th after lap one, to take 11^th place for Tyco BMW ahead of Be Wiser Ducati’⭕s Andrew Irwin who was another to suffer a late race fade.

Luke Mossey notched in a steely performance following his painful race one off to take 13^th place f♉🍌or JG Speedfit Kawasaki as Chrissy Rouse (Movuno.com Halsall Suzuki) and Jason O’Halloran (Honda) rounded out the points places.

Race two capped a frustrating round for Bradley Ray with 16^th place having ma🐷de huge adjustments to his Buildbase Suzuki after struggling for grip in🐷 the high track temperatures at the Kent track.
