Despite plans to compete in the final five meetings of the current World Touring Car Championship campaign, Peugeot Sport Denmark has taken the decision to stop itℱs programme after the 407 proved to be uncompetitive on its first appಞearances at Spa and Oschersleben.

Soheil Ayari endured a difficult debut at Spa, and it the same story when team-mate Eric Helary took over at Oschersleben, with both Frenchmen struggling for ꦏpace against the more established entries from Alfa Romeo, BMW and SEAT.
