The Swiss rider held onto top spot after late p♉ressure from Federico Caricasulo and impressive 🥂wildcard rider Andy Verdoia.

Federico Caricasulo topped the opening WorldSSP practice session at Magny-Cour💫s ahead of former GMT94 Yamaha team-🎶mate Jules Cluzel.
After a damp opening WorldSSP300 and WorldSBK FP1 at Magny-Cours, WorldSSP riders certainly got the better of the morning condition🌞s as bright sunshine was unrelenting.
It was Caricasulo who led the way for most of FP1, while wildcard rider Andy Verdo♑ia challenged the Italian on more than one ꦛoccasion.
Cluzel then put in back-to-back quick laps as the checkered flag dropped to go fastest, however, Caricasulo responded💖 with a 1:41.480s - 0.085s quicker than Cluzel as Can Oncu suffered a late fall.
Championship leader Dominique Aegerter could only manage eighth on what was his first session at Ma♔gny-Cours, while second in the standings Steven Odendaal was fifth fastestꦏ.
