Saturday's Jerez WorldSBK and WorldS💟SP races have been cancelled following a serious accident in the WorldSSP300 class involving Dean Bert꧃a Vinales, Alejandro Carrion, Daniel Mogeda, Harry Khouri and Yeray Ruiz.

Vinales, 15, a cousin of MotoGP star Maverick who&nbs🧸p;rides for the Vinales Racing Team🐓 run by Maverick's father Angel, fell on lap 11 of the SSP300 race and appeared to be collected by the following group of riders.

The accident brought out an immediate red flag, with WorldSBK officials later declaring that no further racing will go ahead today, un♑derlining the seriousness of the incident.
