Dutch WorldSBK: ‘My goal is to stay’ at Ducati, ‘no reason to change’ - Redding

Now in his second year with the Aruba.it Ducati team, Scott Redding is aiming to remain wit𝐆h൩ the team beyond the 2021 WorldSBK season.
With Ducati enduring an inconsis🧸tent start to the season and Redding currently without a contract for next year, plenty of rumours are circulating as to who will be at Ducati next yeꦜar.
The Italian manufact๊urer enquired about Toprak Razgatlioglu before the championship leader re-signed with Yamaha, while rookie Axel Bassani has also been touted as a potential option.&nb﷽sp;
However, Redding is hoping to keep his sea🌠t as he sees ‘no reason to chang🌃e’.
Redding said: "My gꦿoal is to stay where I aꦇm. We’ve been here for the second year now and I believe we’re working in the right way; the best way possible.
"There’s still a lot to go in this season, but the team’s doing a good job and working to give me 💜the best package, so there’s no reason to change."
Speaking♏ of inconsistencies with the Panigale V4 R this season, Redding is once again going into a race weekend without knowing how the bike will fare exac🥂tly.
"I don’t know ho💎w it will be. This is kind of the situation we’re in this year. We don’t kn🐓ow what’s going to be until we get into the race weekend," added Redding.
"Here there’s a new surface I believe in Assen, so that co𒈔uld favor us a little bit.
"I think the layout of the circuit works a little bit in our favor; we probably got an equal strong to weak point, instead of ⛎some areas like Donington where we have a lot of weak areas and not long enough to kind of get our strong p꧟oints back.
"I think here it will be a bit more of a fair playing field for us, and I 💯hope we can fight for the podium and I’m aiming to go top step."
