Moriwaki Althea Honda has confirmed 🧸Leon Camier will not require surgery on his injured knee sustained in Thailand and aims to return to action at the next World Superbike round at Aragon.

In an unfortunate accident with Thai wildcard rider Thitipong Warokorn during the Sunday morning sprint race in Buriram, Camier sustained a knee injury but was able to return♚ home to Andorra to undergo a full medical rev💫iew.

His Honda squad has𓂃 announced the British rider has undergone medical checks which confirmed the knee injury but he will not 💜require surgery. Camier’s knee remains swollen and painful but the Honda rider will start light exercises and physiotherapy this week in order to return to fitness for the third round of the season at Aragon on April 5-7.

During the Thailand race weekend the World Superbike medical team confirmed Camier had suff🌳ered a right knee sprain with tibial spine avulsion, forcing h🔯im to sit out the final race at the Thailand round.

Warokorn has undergone surgery in Bangkok after sustaining two broke vertebrae and multiple broken ribs after being accid𓂃entally hit by Camier in the sprint race.
