Reigning World Superbike champion Jonathan Rea heads up a Kawasaki 1-2 at the end of Friday practice in Thailand during the late time attack at thꦚe end of the final free practice session.

After seeing Xavi Fores and Eugene Laverty top the times in FP1 and FP2 respectively, Rea headed up the charge in the final 40-minute sess❀ion with a 1m 33.327s to edge out teammate Sykes by just 0.057s.

After seeing Xavi Fores and Eugene Laverty top the times in FP1 and FP2 respectively, Rea headed up the charge in the final 40-minute session with a 1m 33.327s to edge out teammate Sykes by just 0.0♍57s.

MV Agusta’s Jordi Torres impressed in FP3 by taking third place on the times📖 with World Superbike champion🦋ship leader Marco Melandri placing his Aruba.it Racing Ducati in fourth with the top four covered by less than one-tenth of a second.

Melandri’s teammate Davies, who bounced back from a smal꧙l off in FP2, also kept in touch in fifth place just 0.108s off Rea’s t🍸op time with a slender gap appearing to the rest of the field headed up by Red Bull Honda’s Leon Camier in sixth place.

Michael van der Mark led Pata Yamaha’s progress in seventh place on the combined timesheet head of Fores who missed the late flying laps after being assessed in the medical centre with the Barni Ducati rider later de𒆙clared fit to continue for the race weekend.

Mi♏lwaukee Aprilia’s Laverty failed to improve on his FP2 fastest time in the final session but held on to an automatic Superpole 2 spot in ninth place with Pata Yamaha’s Alex Lowes⛄ rounding out the top ten.

Laverty’s teammate Lorenzo Savadori became the unlucky 11th place rider to miss out on a Superpole 2 place fractiona𝓀lly ahead of Althea BMW’s Loris Baz making his debut at the Thai circuit.
