Suzuki has unveiled its long-awaited new ♌GSX-R1000 Superbike during a press conference at the Intermot show in Cologne.

Having teased a new Superbike last year, the Japanese manufa🦄cturer is set to roll out the new machine for 2017 which is likely to be available🎶 as a new race model.

While Suzuki is currently enjoying succes♏s in MotoAmerica and Asian championships there are no Suzuki machines on the World Superbike grid after Crescent Racing ended its relationship with the manufacturer in order to become the factory-supported Yamaha squad this season.

In British Superbikes, Halsall Rac꧃ing recently confirmed it will split from Suzuki at the end of the current season with a rumoured switch to Yamaha which would mean in 2017 there could be no Suzuki Superbikes on the British or World stage in the premie💖r class of production bike racing.

The new GSX-R1000 pro🉐ductionও machine will be available in two versions: GSX-R1000 and a limited-edition GSX-R1000R.

The G꧙SX-R1000 has an all-new 999.8cc DOHC inline-four engine with 199.27hp and 86.73lb/ft torque, making it the most powꩵerful GSX-R1000 ever built.

Suzuki has increased top-end power without sacrificing low- to mid-range, increase driveability with a new electronics package, emphasise durability and reliability, and optimised engine dimensions to increase cornering performance courtesy of a 6.6mm narrower and 🏅22.2mm shorter engine that's been pivoted 6 degrees backwards.
