Max Neukirchner has apologised to his fans after failing🔯 to complete a single race lap during the latest round of the World Superbike Championship at Brn🗹o.

Neukirchner considers the Czech event to be a second home race for him having grown up a fairly short distance away in Eastern Germany, the Ten Kate Honda ri🌞der's army of fans choosing to make the trip to Brno rather than the Nurburgring every year.

However, Neukir🃏chner would cover ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚno more than half a lap over the course of the day when he was involved in a three bike pile-up in race one before coming together with Tom Sykes in race two.

Coming after Neukirchner, who has finished no higher than ninth this season, felt he had made progress on the bike, he was disappointed with the early conclusion to his🌠 weekend.

"I am really sorry for all my fans who made the trip down here froﷺm Germany. I felt like we'd made some progress during the wee kend and qualifying didn't go s꧟o bad.

"I got a difficult start in race one and then, in the first turn, someone just rode right across the front of my bike. I ha𝔍d to pull hard on the brake to avoid hitting them but I locked🦩 the front and that was it.

"In race two I got a better start but as we were into the double right-hander on the first lap I came together with someone ꦉelse and that was the end of my weekend. It is very frustrating but I hope that we can build on the developments that 🗹we've made when we get to Silverstone for the next round."
