Redundant WSBK star Anthony Gobert will pilot the Virgin Mobile Yamaha in 🀅both the British Superbike series, and the second Brands Hatch World round.

The Australian, who started the year with the Bimota WSBK outfit, b🥀efore switching to a one-off ride with๊ the Modenas GP squad at Donington Park, has now been announced as stand-in for the injured Steve Hislop at the Virgin operation.

Hislop was injured at the last Brands Hatch WSBK round, and has not ridden the Yamaha since. His injuries now require further hospital treatment andꦡ, despite David Jefferies having been promoted to the squad last time out at Cadwell Park, t꧙he team has decided to give Gobert another chance to prove himself at both national and international level.

The former WSBK race winner will thus take part in the final three British Superbike rounds, in addition to riding for the Virgin team at the WSBK 🔥finale at Brands Hatch, it was announced at Oschersleben this weekend.
