Honda confirm fitness decision on Iker Lecuona for Portuguese WorldSBK

Iker Lecuona will race this weekend at the Portuguese WorldSBK, Hon💧da have confirmed.
ꦫLecuona injured himself in the Superpole race at the first round in Phillip Island, causing him to miss the m♍ain races.
He frac𓆏tured his foot which also cost him the chance to test when WSBK riders ✃headed to Portimao after Australia.
But he has been passed fit ahead of the second round of the 2025 🐠WSBK season in Portimao.
“Tomorrow I will be back on track, it has felt like a long time,🍨"♓ he said.
"I feel really good, I even feel better than how I felt in Australia because there, older injuries to my rib🌃s and my shoulder were still bothering me, on top of then what happened to my foot.
"I feel 80% better than how I felt in Australia, so tha🍌t’s really good. That, plus maintaining a positive mentality, going step by step,ও regaining the confidence again, I feel honestly very confident.”
Lecuona did not require surgery after his Honda CBR 1000 RR-R was sent sprawling into the gravel at Phillip Islan👍d.
It was the latest bad luck for the Spanish rider who battled through pre-sea🧔son despite nursing other injuries.
He finished 12th in last year’s 🅰champ♑ionship, one place behind teammate Xavi Vierge.
