FIA clarifies situation with commercial rights.

After the news this week that the World Motor Sport Council has opened the tendꦛer process for the commercial rights to the World Rally Championship, th🌊e FIA has released an additional statement in a bid to explain what is happening.

The statement read:

"Following reports in the motor sport press, the FIA wishes to clarify the situation regarding the Commercial Rights Holder and Promoter𒁏 of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC).

"International Sportsworld Co🌳mmunicators (ISC) is the Commercial Rights H𝄹older for the WRC until 31 December 2010.

The statement read:

"Following rep🦂orts in the motor sport press, the FIA wishes to clarify the situation regarding the Commercial Rights Holder and Promoter of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC).

"International Sportsworld Communicators (ISC) is the Cꦫommercial Rights Holder for the WRC until 31 December 2010.

"The FIA tender process for the Promoter of theꦦ WRC will open on 16 Oc✅tober and close on 15 November 2008.

"The winning tender will be annou🦄nced at the start of Rally Ireland, the first round of the 2009 season.

"The FIA contract with a new WRC Promoter wi♍ll start from 1 January 20💧11."
