Britain's Matthew Wilson teamedꦗ up with Boyzone front-man Ronan Keating this week as he and the rest of the band took time out of their hectic UK tour to attend a drive day as gu✃ests of Stobart Motorsport.

The day was held to help promote the up-coming Carlisle Live pop festival which is being orgaಌnised by Stobart Group CEO Andrew Tinkler and headlined by the Ir♛ish group.

Keating, along with fellow band🏅 member and Motorsport enthusiast Shane Lynch, received a high speed dash in the Ford Focus WRC07 car driven by Wilso༺n, who recently took his fourth points finish of the year on the Rally of Turkey.

Keating also met with Bradley North, a teenager helped by the charity 'When You Wish Upon A Star'. The charity is supported by Stobart Group and Bradley was also thrilled to receive a few hot laps in the ꦰStobart Ford Focus.

Despite the WRC♍ taking a six week break for the summer it is still a busy time for the Stobart team with several events on the calendar. Wilson and his Carlisle-based co-driver Scott Martin are set to eꦉmbark on a nine-day cycle covering the full length of Britain kicking off this weekend.

The pair will cover a roꦦute from Land's End to John O'Groats in aid of Th🤪e Richard Burns Foundation, Cumbria Community Foundation and the Great North Air Ambulance service.

It doesn't stop there though as the team will be in action in July when they attend the Goodwood Festival of Speed - one of the greatest motorsport exhibitions in the world. The Stobart team will be on hand in full capacity t♎o run the Ford Focus RS WRC07 in front of the hundreds of thousands of fans who attend the festival from July 10-13.
