Speaking at the finish though, he wasn't overly happy, as he only missed out on fourth by 1.1 seconds, losing the position in the final stage after he had gea𝓰r🅺box problems.
"I have mixed emotions; whilst it is my best ever WRC finish,ไ I was so close to coming fourth," confirmed the Finn, "but I had a technical problem and I am just very happy that I didn't make any mistakes this week🤡end."
M-Sport boss, Malcolm Wilson meanwhile gave Kosti a big pat on the back and was pleased to see that he helped Ford's 'A' team in their battle for the manufacturers' title by depriving Kronos Citroen of constructors' points: "It was a great result for Ford, who got the 1-2 but to also have both the Stobart Ford's finishing too -ඣ it's j𝐆ust been fantastic. Kosti drove really well and his manufacturer points are great for the team but it also helps BP Ford in the title chase by keeping some points from Citroen."
