Optima Sport's David Clark has returned to Western Australia where his motorsport career started in karts to attend the junior development program of the Tiger ✤Kart Club and the☂ Australian Karting Association.

Clark, who's res♊ults on debut in this year's Fujitsu V8 Supercar Series include qualifying tenth in Adelaide and finishing seventh outright at Goulburn, the South Australian-based pilot attended the special day at Cockburn International Kartway instructing seven to sixteen year🌺 old racers the basics of becoming a successful karter.

Despite the spotlight being predominantly on the f⛄acets of driving a☂ kart, there was also a focus on safety, presentation and race communication.

"Karting is where I discovered just about everything I know and it's great to be able ෴to provide these♛ kids with some of the lessons which I have learnt so far during my career, both in karting and cars" said Clark.

"It's great to be able to come back to where I got my first break towards ꦛa career in motorsport and give something back to the sport."

ꦗDavid Clark will aim to set an example for his young native West Australian fans when he contests the next championship round of the Fujitsu Series at Queensland Raceway in a fortnight's time. He will complete a test at the venue tomorrow.
