Actron Air Racing's, Kevin Mundy is all fired up and ready to 🅷ignite at round six of the Konica🌟 V8 Supercar Championship at Mallala on the 30 - 31 August 2003.

Mundy's second visit to the South Australian circuit in 2002, ended in disaster when his Actron Air Falcon was virtually destroyed🐬 by fire. He was unable🐭 to complete a race at the event.

"Hopefully luck will be on our side 𝄹this year," Mundy said, "However I am t♚aking a fire extinguisher with me just in case.

"Th♚e new Actron Air slogan is 'keep your cool' which is a good omen for the Actron Air Falcon in the lead up to Mallala this ye🌊ar."

Mundy is hoping to set the track ablaze and keep his Actron Air Falcon out of the carnage𒁃 that has cost him valuable championship points and positions over the last two rounds.

"Things really haven't gone to plan late🌺ly. At Winton I recorded my first DNF for the season and damaged the steering arm in the Actron Air Falcon when we were🍃 an innocent passenger in a race two accident," Mundy commented.

"On the positive side, I have gained a lot of experience in passing traffic over the last few rounds, which will hopefully work to our advantage duri🅠ng the revers🌳e grid in race two."

With Mark Winterbottom wrapping up the 20🌟03 Konica V8 Supercar Championship during round five at Winton, Mundy is hoping to climb up the championship ladder where♔ he currently sits in eighth position.

"Even though the championship has been won there is only 140 points between fourth𓆉 and tenth place. It just shows the competitive nature of the Konica V8 Supercar Series. I think a top ten finish is a reasonable goal for us, considering the misfortune we have been having," Mundy said.

"The guys at Paul Cruickshank Racing have done a fantastic job 🎉preparing the car t💟his year. Last round we showed everybody just how good the car is by starting the third race outside the top 20 and finishing ninth.

"Unfortunately Mallala is the last round of the championship and it seems like such a shame as the car continues to improve. Hopefully we will be b🌳ack ꩵnext year and looking forward to bigger and brighter things."
