Sebring WEC to pair up with IMSA race again in 2020
Officials from the FIA World Endurance Championship have confirmed it will share Sebring with the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship again in ♔2020, setting its dat🍌e slot for next year.
Sebring returned to the WEC calendar after seven years away for the ‘18-19 campaign, hosting a 1,000𒆙-mile race in March as part of a double-header with I🎐MSA's 12-hour event.
The WEC listꦺed Sebring on the provisional calendar for the ’19-2🔜0 season when it was announced last August, albeit with a loose ‘March 2020’ date.

However, it has now been announced that Sebring wil♋l definitely✃ return to the WEC calendar for next season, taking a date slot of Friday March 20, with IMSA's 12 Hours of Sebring being held on Saturday March 21.
"The 2019 Super Sebring weekend exceeded expectations by every measure, and we look forward to working with the World Endurance🀅 Championship and Sebring Raceway staffs to enhance the experience in 2020 for everyone involved,” said IMSA president Scott Atherton.
“Th🦩e Sebring event this year was greatly enjoyed by competitors and fans alike, and it’s a real pleasure to come together again with our partners at IMSA and Sebring Raceway to put on an even better show for 2020," added WEC CEO Gerard Neveu.
The confirmation ensures the WEC retains a foothold in the 🦄United States, where it has ﷽raced in all seven seasons to date.
The Circuit of The Americas in Auꦡstin, Texas, hosted a six-hour race from 2013 to 2017, but dropped off the calendar for the ’18-19 ‘super season’.
WEC’s eighth season will begin on September 1 with the 4 H♉ours of Silverཧstone.
