Davidson gets part-time deal to return to WEC 

Toyota driver Anthon🌟y Davidson will return to the FIA World💙 Endurance Championship after the Le Mans 24 Hours, driving for the DragonSpeed LMP2 squad. 

The 2014 WEC champion was dropped from Toyota’s LMP1 team to ♚make way for McLaren F1 driver Fernando Alonso, with Davidson instead moving into a test and reserve driver role. 

But the B🦄riton has secured a deal to contest the remainder of the 2018/2019 WEC superseason with DragonSpeed from the Six Hours of Silverstone in August.&n💞bsp;

The 𝓰20🏅14 WEC champion was dropped from Toyota’s LMP1 team to make way for McLaren F1 driver Fernando Alonso, with Davidson instead moving into a test and reserve driver role. 

But the Briton has secured a deꦕal to contest the remainder of the 2018✨/2019 WEC superseason with DragonSpeed from the Six Hours of Silverstone in August. 

Davidson will share DragonSpeed’s LMP2 Oreca 07 contender with fellow ex-F1 driver Pastor Maldonado and silver-rated Mexican driver Roberto Gonzalez. The 38-year-old has 10 WEC wins to his name from his time at Toyota, five of which came last season.&nbs𒀰p;

Nathanael Berthon will race for the Franco-American outfit at the 2𓄧018/19 WEC opener at Spa-Francorchamps as well as contesting Le Mans in June, before handi🐬ng over the seat to Davidson.
