Dugard retirement shocker.
In something of a shock announcement immediately following his third place in the British Final on Saturday night, Martin Dugard made it known that this is to be🃏 his last season in speedway and he will hang up🍌 his Kevlar's at the end of the current campaign.
Dugarꦰd has been of England's most successful anꦇd consistent riders over the last dozen years, a regular on the international scene and also winner of the British Grand Prix last year.

He is due to defend that at Cardiff in on June 9th after being awarded one of the wild card places. Dugard's third place on Saturday night made him an automatic qualifier for the Overseas Final in Poole next month but he has decided to withdraw citing that he has no desire to go🃏 further in the stages to qualify for the 2001 Grand Prix💞 series.
Dugard's withdraw is very good news for Sean Wilson who now takes hiꦏs place in Poole, as the next rider in line.
