Sheffield Tigers have 🤪completed the signing of Andre Compton in a new two-year deal. Compton, who ended 2003 on the✨ injured list, will have surgery to repair metalwork in his foot before Christmas and insists he will be fit for the start of next season.

He said: "Moving back to Sheffield this year was always a sign of me making a commitment to stay here and then the club bought my contract in full from Newcastle. "I always felt like it was the place where I wanted to continue racing and a two-year deal seemed the logical thing because it means both the club and myself know𝓡🌌 where we stand."

Compton's signature means that the Tigers are almost half way to a complete septet for the 2004 season as the club already have the𝐆 services of the inspirational Sean Wilson and the highly promising Ricky Ashworth on similar two year contracts.
