Manx GP: Stephen McIlvenna suffers fatal injuries

Former Manx Grand Prix winn♛er Stephen McIlvenna has✤ been killed following an incident during practice for the Manx Grand Prix.

The accident happened on Tuesday evening on the M💝ountain Mile section of the 37.73-mile circuit.

Mr ܫMcIlvenna was 39 and is f🌌rom Randalstown in County Antrim in Northern Ireland.

A statement issued by the Manx Motor Cycle Club said: "Stephen Mc💙Ilvenna was an experienced racer who first competed in the Manx Grand Prix in 2005. He won the 2009 Junior Manx Grand Prix. He also competed in the TT Races in 2010.

"The Ma🔴nx Motor Cycle Club wish to passﷺ on their deepest sympathy to Stephen's family and friends."

An investigat🦄ion into the circumstances of the accident🅰 is underway.
