Today's Isle of Man TT Senior ra♈ce has been cancelled due to damp patches on the Mountain course.

The decision was made following🤡 a course inspection with the Clerk of the Course, Gary Thompson, who took on board the views of John McGuinness, Ian Lougher and Conor Cummins.

Former TT star Phillip McCallen also participated in the inspection, which 𝔉was completed around 5pm.

Isle of Man TT Rider Liaison Officer, John Barton, told Manx Radio TT 365 conditions were 'unsuitable' for super♚bike machines, although the less powerful Lightweight Supertwin bikes will take to the circuit for a three-lap race, which is expected to get under way at 6.30pm.

Northern Ireland's Ryan Farquhar starts as the race favourite on his KMR Kawasaki, but faces stiff op🎃position from Cameron Donald, Michael Dunlop, William Dunlop, James Hillier, Micha⛎el Rutter and Adrian Archibald.
