Elliott outlasts Harvick for Kansas stage 2 win

Chase Elliott wrestled the lead from Kevin Harvick late in Stage 2 of the Digital Ally 400 at Kansas Spee𝔍dway.

Kurt Busch took the lead on the pitstop🌼 exchange by way of a two-tire pitstop. Harvick and Boywer followed ahead of Erik Jones and Chase Elliott.

Busch led the opening 11 laps before Harvick dispatched him on Lap 92. Busch fell into tꦏhe clutches of Chase Elliott and the pair exchanged the runner up spot for a handful of laps before Elliott finally cleared him on Lap 130.

Chase Elliott wrestled the lead fro💝m Kevin🀅 Harvick late in Stage 2 of the Digital Ally 400 at Kansas Speedway.

Kurt Busch took the lead on 🐻the pitstop exchange by way of a two-tire pitstop. Harvick and Boywer followed ahead of Erik Jones and Chase Elliott.

Busch led the opening 11 laps before Harvick dispatched him on Lap 92. Busch fell into the clutches of Chase Elliott and the pair🍸 exchanged the runner up spot for a handful of laps before Elliott fiওnally cleared him on Lap 130.

Harvick maintained around a second and a half lead over Elliott while Erik Jones rode ౠthird ahead of Alex Bowman and Busch.

Jones was the first of the leaders to pit as the pit window opened on Lap 122. His Joe Gibbs Racing teammat♈e Martin Truex, Jr followed behind along with Clint Bowyer.

Harvick followed suit the next lap with Kurt Busch which handed t🍸he lead over to Elliott.

Elliott led for a la꧑p before pitting as did his Hendrick Motorsports teammate Alex Bowman which completed the leader’s pitstops.

Chris Buescher, Ricky Stenhouse, Jr., Brad Keselowski and Matt Tifft led a handful𓄧 of laps before making their respective stops and cycling Harvick and Ellio🍃tt back to the front.

That 💜c♒ompleted the cycle of pitstops as Elliott overtook Harvick for the lead on Lap 146.

Harvick dropped back as a handling issue on his No. 4 Busch Ford Mustang fell 2.5 seconds behind. Elliott neღver faltered and took the stage win with over two seconds in the bank.

Erik Jones ended up tℱhird ahead of Bowman and Sten🎃house, Jr.

Buescher’s topped off leading a𝓡 handfu🌠l of laps by finishing sixth in advance of Kurt Busch, Clint Bowyer in eighth while Kyle Busch and Kyle Larson rounded out the top ten.
