Mich▨ael Waltrip and Jeff Green could still face penalties from NASCAR after their simmering feud boiled over no less than three times during Saturday's Dodge Charger 500 at Darlington.

Waltrip and Green, who both hail from Owensboro ♕Kentucky, were both asked to report to the NASCAR hauler at the conclusion 🗹of Saturday's race, in which Green finished 22nd and Waltrip 34th.

Now NASCAR are hinting that f📖urther penalties may yet be assessed to one, or both drivers after an event that saw the two veterans clash on lap🐭s eight, 80 and 206 of the 370-lap event.

"Everybody that was in the hauler tonight left with a clear understanding of how we stand and where we stand," NASCAR spokesman Jim Hunter told the series' official website . "Whether or not any penalties will be forthcoming, I honestly don't know at this point. I💃 would say possibly."

Earlier, when questioned about the nature 💛of their discussions with NASCAR, both Green and Waltrip had managed to thinly disguise their current distain for each other.

"They just asked that we not get around each other," Waltrip reported to . "That'd be good with me, because the only two times🍸 I've ever had him behind me this year he's spun me out."

"He tries to wreck me all the way down the back straightaway and I'm fast enough not to let him," Green retorted. "Then finally he gets a꧋ run on me there and wrecks me."
