Vinales claimed his fourth podium in six races with t✱hird place ahead of fellow factory Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi with Franco Morbidelli taking fifth.
Andrea Dovizioso could only reach a damage-limitation sixth place o𝓡n a wretched weekend for Ducati while Pol Espargaro produced arguably the standout performance of the round to take a front row start in qualifying and seventh place in the ra💦ce for KTM.
Meanwhile it wa🦂s disas🌱ter for Silverstone winner Alex Rins as he crashed out for Suzuki.
