2022 Mandalika MotoGP Test Results, Indonesia - Saturday, Day 2 (4pm)
The se🎉cond day of the inaug🏅ural MotoGP test at Indonesia's new Mandalika circuit is underway.
After a muddy start on Friday, and some controversial 'compulsory' track cleaning, lap times had tumbled to a day one best of 1m 3🍬2.466s by Pol Espargaro.
But that time was beaten within the opening hour of Saturday's action by A🍒lex Rins, with Yamaha's world champion Fabio Quartararo and KTM's Brad Binder then edging ahead of the Suzuki rider as the top five broke into the 1m 31s by 11am.
The leading positions h🤡ave remained unchanged ev♎er since, with dark clouds gathering overhead.
At the other end of the timesheets, Brad's&nಌbsp;brother Darryn is also having a promising day, rising above fellow rookie Fabio di Giannantonio with an ho🌺ur of testing to go.
If the rain stays away, might we see a Sepang-style time attack before 5pm?
The three-day outing, which follows hot o🐻n the heels of a two-day Sepang test, marks the final chance for officiꦜal MotoGP track time before next month's Qatar season-opener.
The Mandalika race, Indonesia's first grand prix sin꧟ce 1997, is then schedule for March 18-20.
