2022 Sepang MotoGP Test Results - Sunday, Day 2 lap times (12pm)
The second and final day of the Official 2022 Sepang MotoGP 🐎test got off to a flying start with day one leader Aꦡleix Espargaro (Aprilia) and then Enea Bastianini (Gresini Ducati GP21) beating the previous fastest ever two-wheeled lap recorded at the Malaysian circuit.
The unofficial rꦡecord (official records are only during grand prix weekends) 🀅was by Danilo Petrucci, on a Ducati, in 2019.
The fastest Sღepang laps are usually set in the first and last hour🅠 of testing, meaning there's still a chance of seeing the first 1m 57s lap later today.
The Sepang test is the ꩵfirst time that Marc Marquez has ridden a MotoGP bike since winning at Misano last October, after which he was sidelined by a repeat of his 2011 double-vision problems triggered by an enduro training accident.
Testing takes place from 10am to 6꧃pm, followed by practice starts.
The second and final MotoGP pre-season test will be held at Indonesia's new Mandali🌄ka circuit froꦆm February 11-13...
