2022 Sepang MotoGP Shakedown Test Results - Tuesday lap times (FINAL)
2022 MotoGP track action continued at Sepang in Malayওsia on Tuesday with day 2 of th𝓡e Shakedown test.
Aprilia's Maverick Vinales and Honda test rider Stefan Bradl joined the track action, with nine time MꦗotoGP race winner Vinales spending most of the day on top of the timesheets.
The Spaniard became the first rider this week to break the two-minute barrier late in the day (hi🧜s 49th lap) to c💧onfirm the fastest lap time with Ducati test rider Michele Pirro best of the rest.
Day one leader Raul Fernandez (Tech3 KTM) suffered a fall on 🐬his way to fourth behind fellow rookie Marco Bezz🎶ecchi (VR46 Ducati).
Bradl, whose bikes didn't arrive in time for Monday, rode both the all-new 2022 RꦉC213V as well as a Repsol-liveried 2021 machine.
Rookies, test riders and conc🐷ession manufacturer Aprilia are eligible to take part in the three-day outing, which is followed by the official test - for all competitors - on February 5-6.
Gresini's Fabio di Giannantonio - the top rookie at last November's Jerez test - missing day two due to a stomach ache but will hope to be back for Wednesday's final day, when Vinales' team-mate Alꦿeix Espargaro should also be on track ti try the latest RS-GP ahead of this weekend's Official test.
Dani Pedrosa was again not listed on the timing screens, with two 💯bikes for fellow KTM test rider Mika Kallio. Kohta Noz⛦ane and Katsuyuki Nakasuga are on the Yamaha test bikes.
Yamaha told ltxcn.top that Cal Crutchlow will be testiꦓng&n🌱bsp;tomorrow, and then during the Official test.
Testing runs frꦰom 10am to 6pm each day, followed by practice starts…
