Both Vinales and Quartararo used medium front and hard rear tyres in warm-up, with Dovizioso showing s🌌igns of progress in second place for Ducati.
But there was𒀰 no obvious breakthrough for Rossi, who has qu𝄹alified just 14th and was only 13th best this morning, on soft tyres.
Title leader Marquez tried the hard and then soft rear tyres. Rins, who will start between Quartararo an𓄧d Vinales on the front row, was fifth for Suzuki.
Jorge Lorenzo has been ruled out of the remainder of t🅰he Assen event🏅, and next weekend's German round, after fractures to his vertebrae during FP1 on Friday.
