PICTURES: Mandalika makes final preparations for MotoGP

When free practice begins at Mandalika on Friday it will mark the first official motorcycle grand ꦆprix laps in Indonesia since Sentul in 1997.
But the picturesque seaside circuit on the island of Lombok (next to Bali) has had plenty to do since February's pre-season test, most notably emergency resurfa♊cing on around 25% of the circuit; extending from before Turn 17 (t༺he final corner) until after Turn 5.
Extensive cleaning has also been carried out due to very dusty and dirty conditions at the test, ♑while construction work has continued on the circuit and infrastructure.
Here is a look at what will greet the MotoGP teams and riders when t🦩hey arrive, many of them fresh from Wednesday afternoon's street parade in Jakarta:
