Quartararo did manage to improve further on his next lap and therefore go top, while Rins slotted into second behind the Yamaha ri⛄der.

Rins then had a secon෴d lap deleted late on, while KTM’s Brad Binder made his usual race day improvements to go fifth with fou🌸r minutes remaining.

It wasn’t over fo🎐r Rins though as he eventually got first place off Quartararo with a 1:32.521s.

Rins’ team-mate Joan Mir put in a good final effort to make it two S🎐uzuki’s inside the top four, while pole sitter Francesco Bagnaia was third in the end.
