Fabio Di Gianಌnantonio heads to Le Mans this weekend just 17 points back from championship leaders Remy Gardner and Sam Lowes after taking a stunning win last time o🎃ut. 

The Italian led from lap one of the 23 lap race in Jerez and could not be caught as he went on to ꦿincrease the gap thro🥀ughout. 

The win means Di Giannantonio has brought himself back into contention at the front of the championship as he wꩲas over 25 points down at one stage. 

The 22 year-old🐎’s best result at Le Mans is a third place which c🌠ame in Moto3, but although he’s not been able to replicate that so far in Moto2, it’s a track he enjoys nonetheless.

"It's a track that I like a lot and we are getting there with great enthusiasm. There is a grea✅t desi𝔍re to focus on us and our performance, taking care of every detail," added Di Giannantonio.

"I am convinced that we can play for the victory there too. I have always done well in Le 🌞Mans, I almost won there, I made some podiuไms (2017), so only good vibes for the next round."

For his Federal Oil Gresini Racing team-mate Nicolo Bulega, it’s be🌳en a rough start to the 2021 season with a 22nd and 17th in Qatar, followed by two retirements in Portimao and Jerez.

Bulega also added: "The start of the season hasn’t gone the way we’d liked, but the feeling on the bike at Jerez hasꦡ improved and – aside from the race – we made some steps ಞforwards. 

"Now more than ever there is some hard work to do in ord꧂er to be competitive again."
