Andalusia MotoGP: Rins ‘working hard’ on return, Suzuki regroups

Alex Rins says he is ‘working really hard’ towards getting himself back into a shape that will allow him to compete in this weekend’s Andalus🔥ía MotoGP꧃ after being ruled out of the 2020 MotoGP opener in Jerez.
The Spaniard suffered a fracture and dislocation of the right shoulder w𝓡hen he crashed during the clo🐼sing stages of qualifying for the Spanish MotoGP, ruling him out for the remainder of the weekend.
With the Andalusia MotoGP getting underway just days later, Rins has faced a race against time to be passed fit for this weekend’s event. As it stands, he will require a medical on Friday morning to g𝐆et the green light to jump back aboard the Suzuki GSX-RR.
“On Sunday morning the pain was really very bad, and the do🐲ctors agreed that there was no-way that I could race. Since then I have been having a lot of treatment and also taking care to rest and recover.
“I’m working really hard towards bei💟ng ready to ride on Friday morning, but we will need to check everything again and have some more tests befor🏅e then.
“My feeling last weekend before🍨 the crash was very good, so I’m really hoping to be꧃ able to jump back on my GSX-RR and score some useful points. I want to thank the fans for their amazing support during these days.”
Having arrived at the season opener on the back of some eye-catching testing form, Suzuki went on to endure a disastrous race wiಌth Joan Mir completing just a handful of laps before crashing out. As such, the Spaniard is looking forward for the chance to make amends this 🍌weekend.
“ꦯI’m really glad to have another chance this weekend to get a good result. Last week I felt strong in almost all the sessions, and it was a shame to end a good weekend with a DNF.
“I’m aiming to improve on my qualifying performance and also my race starts, but overall, I feel really good with the bike and it’s great to keep up the momentum we ha𒈔d last week and get back on track.👍”
