After a fourth-month delay due to the coro🔜navirus pandemic, MotoGP finally returns with two back-to-back races held behind closed doors at Jerez in Spain.
It'll mark the s🐻tart of 13 races in the space of just 18 weeks, with the possibility of any end-of-year flyaways still to be decided.
Yamaha stars Maverick Vinales and Fabio Quartararo set the pace during Wednesday's ⭕test session at the Spanish track, but with Ho🌸nda's reigning six-time champion and defending Jerez winner Marc Marquez also consistently fast.
As has been the case throughout pre-season testing, lap times were incredibly clos🧸e, with all six manufacturers featuring in a top-nine covered by just 0.8s in the fi♐nal session.
Meanwhile, the later than usual date for the Jerez round means scorching temperatures are set to push man and machine t💎o the limit this weekend.
MotoE will also make its 2020 debut this weekend, while it'll be round two for the&nbs꧒p;Moto2 and Moto3 classes, which got to race in Qatar.
