MotoGP: PICS: Aprilia's all-new 2020 RS-GP
Apr🍒ilia has provided the first pictures of its 'all-new' 2020 RS-GP MotoGP machine, which will make its track debut at Sepang.
Seeking to break free from the bottom of the constructors' s🤪tandings, the Italian factory has introduced a raft of changes for this year's bike.
Perhaps most notably, the bike now has a 90-degree V4 engine (previousl♉y it had a narrower V angle), matching the likes of Ducati and Honda✅.

The aerodynamics have also been redesigned, with the pictures provided to the media showing an aggressive front wing and new front wheel brake cover (but no swingarm spoiler𝓰, which is now part of the Aero Body rules),while substanti🍨al work has also gone into the electronics and chassis.

Aprilia has expanded its racing depart🍬ment by acquiring new engineers from the likes of Ferrari, Suzuki, Ducati, Lamborghini and BMW.
The names of all the men and women involved in the project have been includedꦓ on the test livery with which the new bike will make its debut during the Sepang Shakedown Test (February 2-4) and then Official Test (February 7-9).

As a result, test rider Bradley Smith is to tak♍e on Iannone's planned workload alongside Aleix Espargaro, with Lorenzo Savadori due to get MotoGP test experience on the 2019 bike.
Aprilia's target ღ𓄧for the new RS-GP is to start in the top 15, but be able to beat its existing best finish of sixth place by the end of the season.
