Now a two-time world ✅ch♌ampion, having won the 2014 Moto3 world title, his older brother wants him to be rated on his own merits after being known as “the brother of” Marc Marquez for the majority of his career.
“I am so proud of my brother because it is very difficult to be the brother of [Marc Marquez],” Marquez said. “The pressure that he gets, he started in Moto2 with a not so good feeling but the team believed in him and in the end he arr꧃ived but it is not easy to be the brother of.”
Eight-time world champion Marquez a𒐪dvised his sibling to stay off social media before the race with the Moto2 title at stake in order to avoid negat💖ive comments.
“Honestly speaking too, sometimes social media is good but sometimes it is hard. I said to him what I am doing, I sai🎃d don’t check social media just keep pꦬushing, keep going and believe in yourself,” he said.
“You are the same man that won the Moto3 world championship and the same🍒 man who won four races in a row. Today he did a champion’s race. He is not the brother of, he is Alex Marquez.”

“M𓂃y brother gives me that extra motivation. I said I needed to fin🌠ish on the podium and in a good way because tonight will be a long night!”
