Maverick Vinales has struck back to head up an all-Yamaha top three in FP2 but Marc Marquez retains the fastest timౠe on Friday practice at Aragon despite a fall in the afternoon session for the Repsol Honda rider.

The Monster Yamaha rider produced a lateཧ 1m 48.014s to clinch the fastest time in the afternoon but couldn’✃t get near Marquez’s stunning 1m 46.869s from FP1.

Maverick Vinales has struck back to head up an all-Yamaha top three in FP2 but Marc Marquez retains the fastest time o🃏n Friday practice at Aragon despite a fall in the afternoon session for 🌠the Repsol Honda rider.

The Monster Yamaha rider produced a late 1m 48.014s to clinch the fastest time i♏n the afternoon but couldn’t get nea෴r Marquez’s stunning 1m 46.869s from FP1.

Marquez led for the majority the second practice ses🅠sion but a low-side off at Turn 8 down the reverse Corkscrew corner complex stalled the MotoGP championship leader’s progress.

With Marquez opting against another late time attack in FP2, it saw Yamaha charge to the front with Vi🍸nales leading from team-mate Valentino Rossi while Petronas Yamaha’s Fabio Quartararo slotted into third place to maintain his momentum having fought for victory last time out at Misano.

Marquez still retained fourth p🌼lace on th🍷e outright FP2 times, with Pol Espargaro keeping Red Bull KTM’s charge going in fifth place.

Jack Miller grabbed sixth place l📖ate on for Pramac Ducati ahead of a resurgent Cal Crutchlow o𝓰n the LCR Honda.

Andrea Dovizioso needed his penultimate lap of the sessiღon to secure his provisional Q2 spot in eighth place for the factory Ducati squad, with rain forecast for tomorrow’s FP3 session, ahead of Suzuki’s Joan Mir.

Aleix Espargaro pinched the final top 10 🦄place for Aprilia with his final lap to push out Alex Rins on the Suzuki and Ducati’s Danilo Petrucci.

Takaaki Nakagami ran off track on his final flying lap which restrained the Japanese rider to 13th place for LCR Honda while Franco Morbidelli appeared off the pace of his fellow Yamaha riders down in 14th place.

Andrea Iannone improved to take 15th for Aprilia ahead of Avintia Ducati’s Tito 🍨Rabat.

Mika Kallio ended his first day back in action for Red Bull KTM in 16th place, with the Finni🐼sh rider replacing the axed Johann Zarco for the rest of 2019.

With Miguel Oliveira 18th fastest in FP2 for Tech3, he narrowly kept ahead of team-mate Hafizh ﷽Syahrin as Jorge Lorenzo’s struggles at Repsol Honda continued 1.696s off the pace of the front🐷-runners in the afternoon session.

Francesco Bagnaia endured a tough session for Pramac Ducati down in 21st place ahead of Karel Abrahaꦏm (Avintia Ducati) with Apri✤lia wildcard rider Bradley Smith completing the times.
