Brno: Vinales has 'conviction, peace of mind'

Maverick Vinales is confident of continuing his rich vein of form as the MotoGP World Championship restarts in Brno thi🐲s weekend.

The Monster Yamaha rider fought back from a miserable start to season to claim the M1's first victory of 2019 in Assen, hotly 💝followed by a runner-up finish to Marc Marquez last time at Sachsenring.

Those results helped accelerate Vinales from a low of twelfth (after Austi♋n)ཧ in the world championship standings, to fifth place and the leading Yamaha rider.

The Monster Yamaha rider fought back from a miserable start to season to claim the M1's first victory of 2019 in Assen, hotly followed by a runner-up finish to Marc Marquez last ಌtime at Sachse🐬nring.

Those resu📖lts helped accelerate Vinales from a low of twelfth (after Austin) in the world championship standings, to fifth place and the leading Yamaha rider.

Marquez is still 100 points clear, but🌌 Vinales is now very much a threat to Andrea Dovizioso, D𓆏anilo Petrucci and Alex Rins for best of the rest in the title chase.

"We're starting the second part of the 🌄championship in a very positive mood💙," Vinales said.

"After the victory 🎀in Assen and t🔯he second place at Sachsenring we went on holiday feeling very happy, with the conviction that we're on the right track and with the peace of mind that you get after a job well done.

🧸"We have been able to rest a little bit during the summer break, but it was also helpful to complete a lot of training in order𝔍 to arrive at this GP feeling physically and mentally strong.

"The next two rounds are held at two tracks t🌌hat I like a lot but where we'll have to work hard to obtain positive 𒁏results.

"I think that I c🥂an show all my potential there and confirm that we are working in the right direction. Brno is one of my favourite circuits, so I'll give it my 100% to continue improving step by step.”

Vinales hꦡas taken two previous podiums at Brno, in 2013 (Moto3) and 2017 (MotoGP).
