For 🦩the second time in a row, Ducati Corse general manager Gigi Dall’Igna was celebrating a home Italian MotoGP victory at Mugello.

Andrea Dovizioso's 2017 victory had🌄 been the first for the factory since Casey Stoner, but the team reached a new home high on Sunday in the form of a perfect one-tw🌺o for Jorge Lorenzo and Dovizioso.

"I'm really happy," Dall’Igna told ltxcn.top. "This is our home track so to win here is important, but first and second is the 🍨best possible result.

"I'm also really happy for all the p🐬eople at the factory that work hard and are not here with us. I would like to say thank-you to all of them."

Lorenzo cited recent chassis changes and then a fuel tank modification at Mugello as being key🍬 to his long-awaited first Ducati victory.

"In the end we've improved quite a lot in the last two tests and we found something so that now Jorge caᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚn trust to the bike and so I t𒀰hink it's a big step," Dall’Igna confirmed.

"The fඣuel tank is the last one of the parts, but it's several parts that in the end did a great job."

But with Lo꧃renzo already looking set to leave the team at the end of this season, can the victory change anything for his Ducati future?

"Well, you know, for sure theﷺ results are important. I think it's quite difficult, but we will see what happens in the next two weeks…"
