McWilliams was back on track for the third and final day, but he and team-mate Andrew Pitt remained at tဣhe bottom of the timesheets - separated only by injured Kawasaki rider Olivier Jacque.
"I don't think we can underestimate how much work we still have ahead of us," admitted McWilliams. "I'm definitely not where I want to be speed wise yet but we will have some new engine parts to play with in Jerez so hopefully that will make a diffe🐠rence. On a positive note, I tried out a new 16 inch front tyre from Michelin today and it was great, it really helped on the corners."
McWilliams, Pitt and Ilmor will be back in action at Jerez this weekend, for the final pre-seas𓂃on test before the full 2007 field returns to Qatar for the season-opening grand prix on March 10.
