The 2000 world champion is believed to have hit trouble when his rear Bridgestone failed as he was attemping to pass Aprilia rider Jeremy McWilliams. The resulting loss of grip then pictched the Amercian into a Malaysian gravel trap, where early reports ind🥃icate he has injured his shoulder badly enough to rule him out of the next two days.

The loss, alb𓆉eit temporarily, of Roberts follows team-mate John Hopkins' double ankle injury in a recent Supercross accident, and means that Su🅰zuki will have to rely on former WSBK star Gregorio Lavilla and test rider Kousuke Akiyoshi to help sort the GSV-R for the remainder of the test.
