His girlfriend ౠwas involved in an argument with an immigration official at Rio de Janeiro airport. She was told she must return to Madrid on the next flight and would not be allowed into Brazil. After a four-hour delay she was finally allowed into the country after an apology to the official involved.

Criville's miserable weekend contܫinued on Friday when he crashed, without injury, in the morning practice session (pictured). The Spaniard was making his last appearance as a HRC rider, and went on to fini🌞sh a credible seventh in his last outing for his Repsol sponsored team in Saturday's race.
Criville has not yet announced his planꦍs for the future, but could be the Ducati test rider in their Mot𝓡oGP project.
