Having broken his left tibia and fibula less than a month ago, the last thing Hector Barbera needed was this highside on his MotoGP comeback in Friday practice at Indianapolis (see b🍌elow for more pictures).
The session was red flagged to allow Barbera to be taken to the medical centre by ambulance, complaining of chest and ℱback pain. It remains to be seen if he will return for the afternoon session.
Toni Elias, who replaced Barbera at the previous Laguna Seca round, is♋ on standby should Barbera be unfit to continue.
