Crutchlow diagnosed with sprained ankle

Cal Crutchlow has been diagnosed with a sprained left ankle 🦂follow𒁃ing his heavy Saturday morning fall at Silverstone, but is to undergo further medical checks before continuing in his home British MotoGP.
♛The Yamaha Tech 3 rider, who missed last year's race when he broke his c🦩ollarbone in qualifying, was initially feared to have broken his ankle in the out-lap fall.
After medical checks a message on the official MotoG🌸P Twitter account declaredꦕ: "It is confirmed that Cal Crutchlow suffered a sprained left ankle".
That seemed to clear the way for Crutchlow to return for qualifying, but a later (midday) posting anno🧔unced: "Crutchlow to undergo anoth♔er examination this afternoon before deciding on further participation [in] the GP."
As well as hurting his an🐼kle, the Englishman received an all-round battering when he lowsided through the fast left-hander onto♓ the Hangar Straight in the cold and windy conditions.
Crutchlow w𒅌as already recovering from upper body inj♉uries in a fast post-race testing fall at Catalunya.
Rookie Stefan Br🍎adl (Honda LCR), who was also sent to the medical centre this mor꧂ning, sustained a wounded left ring finger.
