These pictures (see below for full sequence) show the controversial incident between Dani Pedrosa and Marco Simoncelli in Sunday's French MotoGP at Le Mans - which left Pedro🅷sa with a broken ☂collarbone and Simoncelli a ride-through penalty.

Pedrosa had just re-passed Simoncelli for second alo𒅌ng the back straight and was on the inside line as they peeled into to the following left-right Es🌱ses.

Simoncelli then attempted to ride aroun🧸d the outside of Pedrosa and the pair made contact at the apex, Pedrosa striking the side of Simoncelli's bike, then falling.

Pedrosa, second in the championship, broke his right-collarbone while Simoncelli received a ride-through penalty, dropping him from second to fifth and thus ending his hopes of a debut🃏 MotoGP podium.
