Johann Zarco’s crunch feedback on Honda carbon fibre MotoGP swingarm
Johann Zarco s🦹aid his lap times were “immediately better” when using Honda’s new carbon fibre swingarm at the Aragon MotoGP test.

Johann Zarco singled out Honda’s new carbon fibre swingarm as offering a clear step forward during his debut on the prototype pa꧟rt in Monday’s Aragon test.
HRC test rider Aleix Es𓂃pargaro, who has helped develop the composite swingarm behind closed doors, signalled the part was ready for the race riders during a wild-card appearance at the previous Silverstone round.
Z꧟arco and Joan Mir duly got their chance to try it at the official test.

“The biggest thing we have tried is the carbon swingarm, which was very interesting. We got a better performance with it. Now we will ha🍬ve to wait a bit to get it on the bike [in a race weekend].”
Pressed on if he was happy with th🐲e test, after a tough race weekend🐟, the Frenchman replied:
“Yeah, for exampleಞ this swingarm… ‘wow’, that was the thing working the best. So I'm happy that this big part of෴ the bike, where sometimes the comments of the rider is not huge, for me it was nice. So this was good.
“We gained a lot in acceleration, but also on the braking, we have bet💛ter control of the rear grip. 🔴Immediately, the lap time was better.”
The only bad newꦬs is the timeframe needed to🐷 create enough carbon fibre swingarms.
“I t🔴hink it will b♌e for the overseas races. So I need to wait a bit,” he said.
Meanwhile, Zarco was🍃 coyer on the other, less visible RC213V develꦕopments.
“Then we have teste🦩d things that we have tested already 𝓰in Jerez, but it's very technical things on the bike.
“It's somet🐽hing that Honda is developing which I think can open some new doors that I hope will give us advantage for next year.”
