Race Direction has imposed a 15-place grid penalty on Moto2 rookie Johann Zarco, followingꦺ a collision with Pol Espargaro in Saturday morning practice at Mugello.
Zarco tagged the back of Espargaro at turn one, sending them both into the grave💛l. Zarco walked away but 𒉰Espargaro was taken to the medical centre.
The Pon🦄s Kalex rider, second in the championship to Marc Marquez, later emerged sore but standing and should be on track during this afternoon's qualifying session.
Espargaro had been fa🍨stest in both of Fridayﷺ's sessions.
