The latest rumour to emerge from the states is that former factory Honda and Suzuki🌸 star Kevin Windham could b🌼e on his way back as a Red Rider - on Honda's 450F four stroke.

Windham, for so long tipped as𒁏 the 'next big thing' in AMA action, broke his leg badly during the 2002 season while riding as Travis Pas♒trana's team-mate for Roger de Coster's factory Suzuki team.

The injury ruled him out for months, during whichꦚ time he lost his Suzuki seat, and didn't attend any of the outdoor nationals, fuelling rumours of an impending - if early - retirement.

However, 'K-Dub' could be about to make a comeback replacing another injured♌ rider - American Honda's Nathan Ramsey [pic💯tured]. Ramsey, ironically, will be sidelined from the start of the Supercross season with a broken leg.

Honda will need a replacement for 'Nate' as they need all the development time they can get on the new four-stroke - the decision now seems to be 🌳a straigh🥃t one between Paul Carpenter, a factory supported rider in the AMA four-stroke nationals with White Brothers Honda and Windham.

Should Honda and Windham agree terms it would mark a shock comeback for the super s🦄mooth American who was once the toast of the Motocross paddock, but is short of other options with Kawas▨aki, KTM and Yamaha all having signed their factory riders for the 2003 season.
